Beautiful Mr. Chair lounge chair designed by George Mulhauser for Plycraft in the 1950s, with one piece plywood molded back (not the usual style that has a separate headrest from the back support).

This is a stunning centerpiece that has been renovated and reupholstered in premium, super soft black leather (not vinyl).

The chair swivels and tilts smoothly and is very comfortable.  The base is the rare wood covered version. The wood of the chair and base is in great condition and recently cleaned and polished. There are a few very small minor scratches of wear in the wood of the chair (please inquire and I can send you detail photos).

To the lucky buyer I will also throw in the spare leather left over from the reupholster, it’s a piece large enough to comfortably cover a matching ottoman.
